No type of fence is 100% safe. Horses are unpredictable animals. However, some types of fence are more dangerous to horses than others. We're going to look at some photos found on the Web and decide ... safe, or unsafe?

Loose barbed wire over low woven wire.
Triple whammy here.
Stock fence = no-no.
Barbed wire = BIG no-no.
Loose fence, too low = DANGEROUS for any type of fence!
I believe providing the safest fence available—within our budgetary constraints—is one of the most important things we can do for our equine companions.
